Don't underestimate yourself as a teacher. What unique skills could you pass on to your teen? Cooking> Photography? Finance?

Look into creative curriculum options. Dual enrollment, online courses, internships, shadowing, and more are all options.

Find shared interests. Your high schooler is quickly becoming an adult. Find things you can do together for a lifetime.
Make them feel needed. Don't be condescending and include them in as many adult conversations as appropriate.
