I get a lot of questions about how I have managed Walt Disney World throughout the years with five kids. I have been going to Disney regularly for my entire life, which means that I have been visiting these theme parks with newborns, toddlers, new walkers, school age children, and now, teenagers! What makes this all possible? A great deal of patience and planning, a supportive life partner, awesome kiddos, and very importantly, a great stroller!
Since we are local, we don’t need to rent equipment or strollers. We have an old, huge, double red stroller that is well known by our family and friends. That old girl has so many miles on it and has the stains to prove it! However, most of my readers and followers are not local, and are making long journeys to Orlando. When you are traveling by plane, you really can’t bring your favorite big double stroller. And when you are headed to Walt Disney World by car, you probably don’t want to waste precious packing space with big strollers either. But never fear; Main Street Strollers are here!
We recently visited Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World with dear friends and five of their children. So between our two families, we had 14 people and 10 children! If you’ve never visited Walt Disney World with a large group, you’re really missing out. There’s something to be said for approaching the Cast Member and having them ask, “How many?” and then having the chance to respond “14!” For this special day, we had the chance to test out Main Street Stroller’s Rolls Royce of strollers, the Keenz Premium Stroller Wagon.
These are the latest and greatest types of strollers. These large wagons come with everything you might need for a day in the parks, and then even some things you wouldn’t know to think of that you need! Main Street Strollers Keenz stroller wagons come with a mesh shade cover, zip down privacy shields, a rain cover, a cooler bag, tons of pockets and cup holders, five point harnesses inside, two handles, easy swiveling wheels, and a Tagalong child handle for those little ones to hold on to when they are walking along side the stroller. Trust me; you will be really thankful for that child handle when you are headed out of the park after the fireworks in those intense crowds! This is an add on to the standard Keenz stroller wagons that Main Street Strollers offers on all rentals for no extra charge.
These wagons have a 110 lb weight limit, so we could easily fit our two five year old besties in one wagon, and the two seven year old besties in the other wagon. For some of these little ones, this was their first time ever to Walt Disney World! Watching their little faces as they walked down Main Street for the first time ever was such an incredible joy and something I will always treasure. We did Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight, Thunder Mountain, People Mover, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and so many more rides. But after almost every ride, these little cuties would ask, “Is it time to go ride in the wagon again?” They just loved it, and was certainly one of their favorite rides!
Main Street Strollers could not make the process of renting a stroller any easier. Their website is very easy to use, and they offer free delivery to a wide range of hotels and locations in the Orlando attractions area. Their prices are reasonable, and their rental products are impeccably clean and maintained. In addition to the amazing Keenz stroller wagons, they also had traditional single and double strollers. You can rent one of their strollers for anywhere from 1 to 23 days or even more! When you order the rental from their website, which is totally mobile friendly, you arrange a convenient drop off and pick up time and location, and then you are ready to get Main Street Strollin’.
As we walked around the park, we felt like celebrities! With such a large group, and two of the amazing Keenz wagons, we got so many questions about where to get the product, and we were so happy to recommend Main Street Strollers. When you rent from Main Street Strollers, you will also have a large laminated sign attached to your stroller, so there is no question where yours is located when you enter that ocean of strollers. My children had such a great day and made so many wonderful memories, they even wanted to keep those signs to hang in their rooms!
When we were walking around Frontierland, we met up with Big Al from the Country Bear Jamboree, and he loved our stroller so much, he tried to climb in with the little girls! He might have been a little over the weight limit for the Keenz wagon, but we loved watching him try! All the kids got such a kick out of it, and was such a great photo opportunity as we strolled through Magic Kingdom.
Traveling to Central Florida to visit the theme parks can be overwhelming. You may be unsure of what hotel to stay at, which parks to go to, how to handle the heat, what tickets to buy, and how many meltdowns you kids might have along the way. But as I’ve written many times before, it’s always worth it. Take the trip; make the memories, good or bad; and create those ties that bind. When you are planning your Orlando or Walt Disney World vacation, check one thing off your list, and book a stroller with Main Street Strollers. Roll around Magic Kingdom feeling like a celebrity, and thank me later.
