Disney Halloween Party 2021 Full Guide
Disney World is back in full force! Now with mask free smiling faces, fireworks, and more and more normalcy, we are all so ready for it. But what about Halloween? Everyone wants to know what’s going on with the Disney Halloween Party 2021. And now I have all the details! There’s a whole new party and new Disney details to love! Even though things are still slightly different than with we’re used to in the past, it’s a whole new Halloween to love. So keep reading for your full Disney Halloween Party 2021 guide!
What’s the Boo Bash?
This is an after hours, separately ticketed event, at Magic Kingdom. Disney After Hours Boo Bash tickets will grant admission to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7 p.m., even though the event doesn’t start until 9 or 9:30 pm. This gives you time to enjoy even more of the Magic Kingdom Park before the event begins. These specially dated event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.
There will be trick or treating, special characters, exclusive treats and merchandise for sale, and shorter lines at your favorite attractions! This definitely sounds like an event you’ll want to check out. What are the full details you need to know?
Special Character Cavalcades
Special character cavalcades will pop up throughout the night including “Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade,” with Mickey Mouse and friends dressed up for the occasion. In the “Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade,” villains will take to the street and celebrate their favorite time of the year.
In addition, “Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade” will feature Jack Skellington. It will also include Sally and Oogie Boogie riding down the parade path to “This is Halloween.” And last, but definitely not least, Maleficent will also make an appearance in the form of a fire-breathing dragon. This is such a classic and I’m so glad to hear that the fire breathing dragon will make a return!
Characters in Costume at the Disney Halloween Party 2021
Some of your favorite friends will be lurking about the Park! You’ll find the lovely Miss Carlotta at the Haunted Mansion. And you can even see Goofy and Chip ‘n’ Dale in their Halloween best. And be on the lookout for other surprise characters popping up across the park, too. The Dapper Dans are one of my favorite groups of people to find around the Magic Kingdom. And during the Boo Bash, you’ll find the Cadaver Dans during their special comeback (from the dead) performance!
What Can We Eat at the Party?
One of my favorite things about After Hours events are the food! My kids have such great memories of these events and eating all the treats they want. And the Disney Halloween Party 2021 is no different! There will be select complimentary snacks like ice cream novelties and popcorn along with select beverages. These are all included in the price of admission!
In addition, a variety of specialty food and drinks will be available for purchase. You can find an Apple Ginger Dale frozen drink (frozen apple cider mixed with ginger ale and topped with whipped cream) and a Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake. These sound so unique and delicious!
What about the Rides at the Disney Halloween Party 2021?
So I already said that one of my favorite things was the complimentary snacks. However, my absolute favorite thing is the short lines at attractions! At the best of times, it feels like you have Disney World all to yourself with a small group of friends!
How does this work at the Disney Halloween Party 2021? Well, the Magic Kingdom will be open during the day to regular guests. But after the park closes to day guests, you can enjoy less time waiting in line for more than 20 attractions. These include Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion attraction, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, Space Mountain and more (subject to change).
Disney PhotoPass with Spooky Additions
At Disney Halloween parties in the past, I’ve had some of my favorite Disney PhotoPass with magic shots! The headless horseman is a classic shot that I hope will be back at the Disney Halloween Party 2021. PhotoPass photographers will be available throughout the Magic Kingdom.
So How Do You Get Tickets to Boo Bash?
That’s the big question! You’ll want to get your tickets soon because some dates are already sold out. What If You Can’t Make it to the Party?
The Magic Kingdom will be decorated beautifully for Fall AND for the 50th Anniversary celebration as “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” begins! During the Boo Bash, there will be a magical transformation of Halloween splendor. Walt Disney Imagineering, in partnership with the Walt Disney World Resort Holiday Services team, will blend a fall look with the enchanting story of Cinderella by creating special pumpkin coach decorations that will add to the park’s sparkling EARidescence during this magical time. Sounds beautiful! I can’t wait to see it all for myself. This is an absolutely magical time to be at Walt Disney World, for so many reasons. And the Boo Bash is just one more thing to look forward to!
