As you all know, I have a deep love of Disney Springs. I recently wrote about our Disney Date Night experience, which was hosted by Walt Disney World. During that event, we enjoyed several wonderful offerings at Disney Springs. During that event, some of our fellow date night guests were hosted at STK Orlando. They all raved about their meal and I loved reading their reviews. Also, when I attended the Joffrey’s Mickey’s 90th Birthday event, the appetizers were provided by STK Orlando! STK has been in the periphery of my life for a while, and I’ve been really looking forward to checking it out for myself.
Although I enjoy the occasional late night out with my husband and friends, when STK Orlando debuted their lunch menu recently, I knew this was perfect for me! I love day dates, with either my spouse or one of my kiddos. Disney Springs has so many amazing things going on, you want to start your day there early. Lunch at STK Orlando is the perfect way to start your Disney Springs experience, with a delicious meal in a gorgeous setting.
When we went to check out STK Orlando, I brought my daughter and some friends. My 11 year old daughter was thrilled to check out such a hip local spot, and spend some one on one time together. The lunch menu has so many excellent choices, and also includes a kid’s menu. I enjoyed the Heirloom Tomato and Burrata salad, with a side of Truffle Fries, my friend had the Spiced Tuna Bowl, and both of our young ladies had the STK Little Cheese Burgers from the kid’s menu, with an extra side of Mac & Cheese.
Every item we tried was delicious and perfectly prepared. I often order some form of a tomato and mozzarella salad when I visit restaurants, so I’ve had the chance to try many different varieties and consider myself somewhat of an expert on this dish. This salad at STK was one of the best! There was a toasted crouton at the base, and an arugula puree that gave it more flavor than many I’ve tried. I would definitely order it again and I highly recommend it!
My guests all enjoyed their meals as well, and the girls ate every bite of those Little Cheese Burgers! My friend raved about the Spiced Tuna Bowl, and really enjoyed it as well. For dessert, another table of guests sent over an amazing chocolate cake, complete with a side of homemade cotton candy! I didn’t catch the name of it because it took us so much by surprise, but when you visit STK Orlando, be sure to ask your server! What a sweet random act of kindness; and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone at the table.
Our waiter, Eric, could not have been more attentive, with always refilled glasses of water, lemonade, and soda. The atmosphere of STK Orlando is modern and beautiful. At night, it is one of the hottest spots at Disney Springs. On Thursdays through Saturdays, a DJ plays music from 9:30 pm- 2:00 am, with the STK Orlando full dinner menu available for the majority of that time. They have a gorgeous outdoor patio on the second floor of the restaurant with amazing views of Disney Springs and a well known picture spot. I would love to come back and enjoy a late night out at STK.
Have you been to STK at Disney Springs? STK also has several locations around the world, including Atlanta, Denver, Ibiza, London, Milan, New York City, and more.
